Here’s Why Christopher Was Shouted Out As A Madison Star Student

Posted on March 19, 2023

MADISON, CT— Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we’ve launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

This submission comes from Gretchen, who nominated her son, Christopher of Madison.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

As a junior, he has made the High Honor Roll every term. He is a leader on his Cross Country, Indoor Track and Outdoor Track teams. He will be a co-captain of Cross Country for his senior year. He is a great listener and a great friend which makes him a perfect fit as a co-leader for Madison’s Youth and Family Services Peer Advocate program. He loves music and plays the violin in the Daniel Hand Orchestra and Chamber Music ensemble. He is also a Concertmaster (first chair violin) for the Shoreline Youth Symphony Orchestra (SYSO). You will always find him socializing and making friends wherever he goes

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

Chris is a caring leader in everything he does.

Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Christopher!
