Police Urge Residents To Avoid Area After Willowbrook Burglary: Cops

WILLOWBROOK, IL — Authorities are urging residents to avoid the area of Plainfield Road and 63rd Street in Willowbrook following a residential burglary.

Police are actively looking for suspects accused of burglarizing a home and then fleeing on foot, according to a tweet posted by the Willowbrook Police Department shortly after 9 p.m. Friday. The active police search is happening between Plainfield Road and 63rd Street to Madison, according to police.

Authorities say residents should avoid the area and stay indoors.
